Have you tried Shaggin'? June Arthurs and Larry Patterson, Master Shag Dance instructors, will teach from 7:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. The beginner class starts at 7:00pm, followed by intermediates at 8:00, and advanced at 9:00. Lessons are only $30.00 per person each month. Free Lesson at 6:30 first Monday of each month.

Jazz with Bernie Petteway

You'll hear the Bernie Petteway Trio play jazz standards for sure, but don't be surprised if you hear tunes from the songbooks of Pat Metheny, Patsy Cline, Charlie Haden, or even the BeeGees. This incredibly talented trio includes Bernie Petteway on guitar, Ed Butler on drums and Robbie Link of double bass.

Killer Filler

Killer Filler is the creation of keyboardist, guitarist, and songwriter Chris "Crispy" Bess -- an all-instrumental five-piece outfit to meld his twin penchants for 1960s Memphis soul and California surf music. Funk, twang, jazz, lounge and swing flavor Crispy's songwriting as well as the B-side nuggets that he handpicks to arrange and cover. The Ventures, The Shadows, Booker T. and the MGs, and The Champs and The Meters are all channeled by the band in live sets.

Jazz Night at the GSC

Jazz Night 4-7 pm with $10 dinner!

Come in and enjoy our great Sunday Brunch! First Sunday July 5th come to downtown Pittsboro in your favorite red white and blue ! Have an old American made car??? Drive around the courthouse at 1 pm in your red, white and blue!!!!! We'll be playing American themed music all afternoon and the street will have arts and crafts vendors. Shops will be open. Spend the afternoon strolling around downtown, eating at the GSC and enjoy our Historic Pittsboro!. First Sunday is a monthly celebration on Historic Hillsboro Street from 1 - 4 pm sponsored by The Pittsboro Merchants Association. Go to pittsboroshops.com or call 960-5892 for more info.
