A recent collaboration among veteran bluegrassers LaNelle Davis, Stan Brown, Ben Runkle and Tommy Edwards, the band brings a traditional sensibility to a diverse menu of original as well as classic bluegrass, country and folk songs. While blessed with skilled instrumentalists, the groups vocals are their specialty, featuring paint-peeling duets by Davis and Edwards as well as smooth trios and gospel quartet numbers with Runkle and Brown. If you enjoy real bluegrass performed by folks who love it you will like Lonesome Heart.
